Position Transducer
The transducer is a device able to convert a physical input quantity (for example a shift) in an output quantity of a different nature (electrical quantity).
The position transducers are tools that are mechanically linked to the rod of the pneumohydraulic press and that provide information of the position of the rod.
They can be used to control the various steps of operation of the unit or, connected to an “intelligent” instrument in presence of a load cell, may provide data needed to build a force-displacement curve.
